Socializta Fashion Design is a game and a virtual (and real) fashion show all in one, designed by whyrobbierocks. The game begins at www.socializta.com where visitors can style the collections of 10 participating designers on an avatar (online alter ego). 

The avatar can then be spread over the internet –through social communities, websites, blogs and email– promoting their favourite designers. All the virtual items in the game are linked to photos of the actual products which are on show – and can be bought – at the atmospheric (springers)wonen store in Utrecht.www.socializta.com

Dutch Design Double - five weeks of Dutch design

Two Dutch cities, more than twenty design-events spread over five weeks. Dutch Design Double celebrates Dutch design from the 4th of September until the 11th of October 2009.

Under the umbrella Dutch Design Double, Amsterdam and Utrecht host throughout the whole month of September and the first week of October, a great variety of internationally orientated design and fashion events. Both cities are joining forces to create a handpicked selection of design, fashion and new media projects.

Dutch Design Double is an initiative of Gemeente Utrecht, Provincie Utrecht and Premsela, Dutch Platform for Design and Fashion. Dutch Design Double is produced by Cultuurfabriek in association with Gemeente Amsterdam and Ministerie van Economische Zaken.
