citizenM caters to a new kind of traveller: a cityhopper eager to work, play and shop – and one with a penchant for modern design. All rooms are equally-sized, small and minimal yet have 5-star comfort. The hotel also has a great Vitra-designed lobby – accessible to non-guests – with plenty of space to work in or simply hangout.

Dutch Design Double - five weeks of Dutch design
Two Dutch cities, more than twenty design-events spread over five weeks. Dutch Design Double celebrates Dutch design from the 4th of September until the 11th of October 2009.
Under the umbrella Dutch Design Double, Amsterdam and Utrecht host throughout the whole month of September and the first week of October, a great variety of internationally orientated design and fashion events. Both cities are joining forces to create a handpicked selection of design, fashion and new media projects.
